PM Modi In Varanasi: Entire Schedule Of PM's Day-1 Visit To His Parliamentary Constituency

Along with PM Modi, Chief Ministers of 12 states and deputy chief ministers of 9 states will also be present during the inauguration of the Vishwanath Corridor Project.

New Delhi: The stage is set in Varanasi for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two days visit to inaugurate the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Project. The Corridor will set a direct link between the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and river Ganga, thus cutting short the time span in commuting between the two points.

Along with PM Modi, Chief Ministers of 12 states and deputy chief ministers of 9 states will also be present during the occasion. The Chief Ministers of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will be present during the inauguration. BJP national president JP Nadda will also be present during the inauguration. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will set off for Varanasi from the Delhi Airport at 9:20 am today. Here is the itinerary of the PM for the day

9:20 am: Departure from Delhi Airport

10:10 am to 10:40 pm: Arrival and welcome of PM Modi in Varanasi

10:45 am to 11:15 am: Time reserved 

From 11:40 am: Arrival at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya Helipad

12:00 to 12:10 pm: Darshan and Worship at Kaal Bhairav Temple

1:00 pm to 1:20 pm: Darshan and Worship at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple 

1:25 pm to 2:25 pm: Inauguration Programme of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham 

2:30 pm to 3:50 pm: Inspection of various buildings on the way - by car

At 3:50 pm: Departure from Ravidas Park to BMW Guest House 

4 pm to 5:30 pm: Time reserved- Guest House 

6:00 pm to 8:45 pm: Reserved (Ganga Aarti and meeting)- Ravidas Park

9:10 pm: Arrival at the Guest House 

According to the PMO, the Prime Minister had this vision for a long time to facilitate the devotees of Baba Vishwanath with an easily accessible pathway between the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and River Ganga sans congestion and poor upkeep of the surroundings. 

The foundation stone for the project was laid by the Prime Minister on March 18, 2019. 

During his two day visit to his parliamentary constituency, the PM will also participate in a conclave with Chief Ministers of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, along with Deputy Chief Ministers from Bihar and Nagaland.
