The price of milk has increased in Punjab from today. The price has gone up by Rs. 2 per litre. Verka Milk has now become Rs. 2 costlier. After the rise in the prices of petrol and diesel, the common man has now been hit by inflation in other categories, too.


After losing jobs and dwindling salaries due to the coronavirus, the prices of milk are also increasing. The prices of everyday consumables are taking a toll on the common man. Milk is an item that everyone consumes - from toddlers to old people. Now, they will have to pay more money for milk every day. 


Jagjit Singh of Mohali said that inflation has increased. "We've started using bicycles instead of cars and now milk has also become expensive. Should we stop drinking milk now?" he added.


The people of Mohali said that the prices of oil are increasing, now if the prices of food items also increase, the life of the common man will become even more difficult. Today, it is difficult to fulfil even one meal.
