NEW DELHI: The Opposition's unity against the Narendra Modi government was on display when HD Kumaraswamy was sworn-in as chief minister of Karnataka, who will lead the Congress-JDS alliance in the state.

The show of strength by the leaders of opposition parties is being seen as a strong signal to the BJP about the possibility of formation of 'united front' to take on the BJP-led NDA in the Lok Sabha polls next year.
