Explosions In Karachi As INS Vikrant, Indian Navy Destroyers Move Towards Port: Sources
Explosions rocked Karachi and Lahore as the Indian Navy mobilised destroyers and aircraft carriers in the Arabian Sea.

Explosions have been heard in the southern Pakistan city of Karachi near the port. Indian Navy sources earlier said the Western Naval Command mobilised INS Vikrant and the Indian Navy's destroyers in the Arabian Sea.
INS Visakhapatnam is among the destroyers, sources said. INS Vikrant is an aircraft carrier commissioned in 2022.
All three armed forces of India -- Army, Air Force, and Navy -- have been mobilised to respond to Pakistan's unprovoked attacks.
India-Pakistan Conflict Update
Earlier, India downed at least 8 missiles in Jammu and Kashmir and 30 missiles in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. Pakistani drones have been shot down in multiple border states. It has been learnt from reliable sources that a Pakistani F16 jet and two JF-17 fighter jets have been shot down by India's missile defence system.
India also launched a counter-offensive with a drone attack on Lahore, disabling its defence system. Along with Lahore, Karachi, Gujranwala,
Meanwhile, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has instructed all airlines and airports across the country to enhance security measures. All passengers at all airports will undergo a Secondary Ladder Point Check (SLPC). Visitor entry into terminal buildings has been banned. Air Marshals will be deployed accordingly, said the Ministry of Civil Aviation Sources.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Thursday reaffirmed that India's retaliatory moves against Pakistan's terror attacks were "measured, precise, and non-escalatory". The escalation of the tensions began on April 22 when the Pakistan-sponsored 'The Resistance Front' killed 26 people in India's Pahalgam.
Following the terror attack, India launched attacks targeted at terror installations in Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor. This led to Pakistan launching (unsuccessful) attacks on military installations in India.
