New Delhi: The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, are one of the most prestigious and renowned awards which honour artistic and technical merit in cinema. The Oscars 2019 will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and fans from all over the world are eagerly waiting to see who will walk home with the winner’s trophy. Eight films including 'Black Panther', 'BlacKkKlansman', 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'The Favourite', 'Green Book', 'Roma', 'A Star Is Born' and 'Vice'are vying to win the Academy Award for Best Picture.
Christian Bale (Vice) and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody) are currently the favorites to lift the winner's trophy for Best Lead Actor. Bradley Cooper (A Star Is Born), Willem Dafoe, (At Eternity’s Gate) and Viggo Mortensen, 'Green Book' have also been nominated in the category of Best Lead Actor.
