Gujrat Government Warns Businesses, Private Institutions To Vaccinate Employees By June 30 Or Shut Shop

COVID-19 Vaccination Compulsory in Gujarat: The Gujarat government has ordered all businesses in the state with night curfew to vaccinate all their employees by June 30. The government has warned that institutions that do not follow the order will be closed.

Gandhinagar: Emphasis is being laid on rapid corona vaccination across the country. The Gujarat government has ordered all the businesses and private institutions in the state with a night curfew to get all their employees vaccinated by June 30. The state government has warned that businesses and private institutions that do not comply with this order will be closed. In other cities of the state, this deadline is till July 10. 

According to the Information Department of Gujarat, "Night curfew is currently in force in 18 cities of the state. All the managers, owners, and other employees of businesses and private institutions in these cities must get vaccinated by June 30. For other cities, the deadline is till July 10."

Night curfew is imposed in these cities

In the meeting of the core committee chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, it has been decided to maintain the system of night curfew in 18 cities of the state. Before this, a night curfew was imposed in 36 cities of the state. According to Chief Secretary Anil Mukim, "In the meeting, it has been decided to maintain the system of night curfew in 18 cities of the state, including 8 municipal areas. At the same time, it has been decided to remove this system in 18 cities".

The new order regarding night curfew in the state will come into effect from June 27.

Night curfew will be imposed in these cities from 10 pm to 6 am. These include Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Vapi, Ankleshwar, Valsad, Navsari, Mehsana, Bharuch, Patan, Morbi, Bhuj, and Gandhidham.  

More relaxations in Gujarat 

In Gujarat, the exemption has also been increased on the restrictions imposed due to the lockdown. The restaurants In Gujarat with a seating capacity of up to 60 percent are allowed to remain open till 9 pm. Multiplexes, cinema halls, and auditoriums can open with 50% labor force. Up to 40 people can attend the funeral, while 100 people have been allowed to attend the wedding ceremony. Not more than 200 people can attend political and religious events.
