SAB TV's long-running show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Oolah Chashmah' will be completing 11 years in July this year and it is still one of the most loved sitcoms on small screen. TV actress Disha Vakani aka 'Dayaben' is missing from the show ever since she became a mother in real-life in November 2017. After waiting for Disha for more than a year, 'Taarak Mehta...' makers have decided to replace her and recent reports suggested that they have approached TV actress Ami Trivedi to play new 'Dayaben'. Reacting on the reports of Ami Trivedi replacing Disha Vakani as 'Dayaben' in 'Taara Mehta...', Asit Modi told Bollywood Life that, "We have not finalised anyone so far. Coming back to Ami Trivedi, she is a part of entertainment industry since a long time and has featured in various popular shows like 'Kituu Sab Janti Hai', 'Kumkum - Pyara Sa Bandhan', 'Jaane Kya Baat Hui' among others. She has proved her mettle as an actress and has also played comic roles in shows like 'Khichdi', 'Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo', 'Papad Pol', 'Chidiya Ghar' among others and was last seen in SAB TV's 'Saat Pheron Ki Hera Pherie' last year.
