'Bigg Boss 20' Viewers Divided Over ScoutOP-Arishfa Clash

The incident quickly became a talking point on X, where several viewers criticised ScoutOP's conduct.

Amitabh didn’t hesitate to reveal his “trick” to ensure that Jaya gets as much time as she needs to get ready while also making sure they arrive at events on time.

He went on to give an example. “So if the time for the wedding is 6 pm, I tell her 5 pm, so she starts getting ready by 3:30 - 4 pm and ends up getting ready on time!”

This is not the first time Amitabh has been asked a question about Jaya on KBC 18. A few days ago, another contestant asked him whether Jaya scolds him for coming home late.

The 83-year-old actor said he makes it a point to inform Jaya and the other members of his family beforehand whenever he expects to be late, so that he does not get scolded. However, if he forgets to inform them, he knows he will have to face her ire.

“I know what is going to happen, so what I do is, as soon as I wake up, we have all our family members’ names saved in our contacts and have made a group where I send a message saying, ‘Namaskar’ with folded hands. Then I tell them that I have a shoot somewhere and will be late, so they should not wait for me for dinner. I inform all beforehand, and that saves me,” he said.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar recalled a hilarious fan encounter involving megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

The actor revealed how his starstruck house help once ended up spilling four glasses of water on the megastar's kurta.

Akshay shared the amusing anecdote while appearing on the quiz reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati alongside his Haiwaan co-star Saif Ali Khan. The incident took place when Bachchan had once visited Akshay’s home in Lokhandwala, Mumbai, during the actor’s stay there.

Recalling the incident, Akshay told Bachchan, “Sir, aapko yaad hai jab aap mere ghar pe aaye the? Main Lokhandwala ki baat kar raha hoon, jab main wahan rehta tha.”

Akshay said the house help was so overwhelmed at seeing Bachchan that he could barely process what was happening.

The anecdote left Bachchan, Saif and filmmaker Priyadarshan, who was present in the audience, in splits.

Akshay went on to recall how Bachchan’s height meant that he had to lend him his own kurta after the mishap.

“Ab main yeh soch raha hoon ki abhi kya ho gaya. Sir obviously bahut lambe hain, toh mujhe apna kurta dena pada taaki yeh unke shirt ke hisaab se aa sakein. Toh mujhe achhi tarah yaad hai. Woh ladke ka naam yaad nahi aa raha hai.”

Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol And Preity Zinta Promote ‘Batwara 1947’ On ‘KBC’

The first episode of KBC 18 featured Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta on the hot seat, where they answered questions posed by Amitabh Bachchan. The trio appeared on the show to promote their upcoming film, Batwara 1947, produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The prize money they won was donated to a charitable organisation.

However, the actors found themselves stuck on the 13th question, worth Rs 25 lakh. The question was about a celebrated Urdu poet whose work has also been closely associated with Hindi cinema and Amitabh Bachchan.

The question was: “Which Urdu poet wrote the famous lines, ‘Kabhi kisi ko mukammal jahan nahi milta, kahin zamin kahin aasmaan nahi milta?’”

The options were Akbar Allahabadi, Jaun Elia, Nida Fazli and Faiz Ahmed Faiz.

Even before looking at the options, Preity said she believed the lines were from Mirza Ghalib, with Aamir agreeing with her. However, after seeing the options, the trio realised they were wrong.

With only one lifeline remaining - MahaFlip, which allowed them to skip the question and choose between two new questions - they decided to use it.

When Amitabh later asked them to guess the answer to the skipped question, they chose Faiz Ahmed Faiz. However, the correct answer was Nida Fazli.
