Reports also suggest that several celebrities are under consideration for Bigg Boss 20. The rumoured list includes Mahhi Vij, Geeta Basra, Jannat Zubair, Faisal Shaikh (Mr Faisu), Sunil Pal, Nia Sharma, Pearl V Puri, and Showik Chakraborty.

The injuries were caused by repeated laser shots fired during an endurance task that pushed contestants to their limits.

Television actress Aditi Sharma has approached Mumbai Police with allegations of domestic violence against her husband, actor Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik, and his family. An FIR has been registered at Goregaon Police Station, and authorities have begun investigating the complaint, which includes accusations of physical and mental harassment as well as the alleged misappropriation of her bridal jewellery.

FIR Registered Following Actress's Complaint

According to IANS, Goregaon Police registered the FIR after receiving a complaint from Aditi Sharma. She has named her husband, Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik, his mother Urmila Kaushik, and his sister Kirti Kaushik in the case.

The complaint alleges that the incidents took place between November 12, 2024, and March 9, 2025, at the couple's residence in Goregaon, Mumbai. Police have confirmed that an investigation is now underway.

Aditi is known for her performances in television shows including Apollena - Sapno Ki Unchi Udaan, Rabb Se Hai Dua and Kaleerein.

Allegations Of Physical And Mental Harassment

In her complaint, Aditi has accused her husband and in-laws of subjecting her to physical assault, mental harassment, verbal abuse and domestic violence. She has also alleged that her character was repeatedly questioned and claimed that her stridhan, including her bridal jewellery, was misused.

According to the FIR, she has accused the three family members of physically assaulting her and causing sustained emotional distress during the course of their marriage.

Relationship Timeline Detailed In Police Statement

As stated in her police complaint, Aditi told investigators that she first met Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik during an online acting class in June 2021. Their friendship gradually developed into a romantic relationship.

She further stated that the couple began living together in a Goregaon West apartment in September 2024 before getting married on November 12, 2024, with the consent of both families.

Actress Claims Husband's Behaviour Changed After Marriage

According to her statement to police, Aditi alleged that her husband's behaviour changed shortly after their wedding. She claimed frequent arguments began over everyday matters, including her choice of clothing, and alleged that he did not contribute towards household responsibilities or expenses. Instead, she claimed he regularly took money from her.

She further alleged that on January 1, 2025, an argument over coffee escalated into physical assault. In her complaint, Aditi also claimed that her husband became increasingly suspicious of her, accused her of having an affair, and regularly checked her mobile phone.

The actress additionally alleged that the couple eventually began living in separate rooms and claimed she was prevented from speaking to her parents.

Police Investigation Continues

Police are examining all aspects of the complaint. As of now, neither Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik nor his family has issued a public statement regarding the allegations.

Complaint Registered Under The POCSO Act

The case stems from allegations made by Rohit Chandel's 16-year-old co-star, who accused the actor of stalking, repeatedly harassing and physically assaulting her. According to the complaint, he allegedly made repeated phone calls to her from his own number as well as several other numbers between December 2025 and July 2026, causing her distress.

Following the complaint, police detained Rohit Chandel for questioning. During the investigation, he reportedly admitted that he had gone to meet the girl. Authorities subsequently registered a case against him under the POCSO Act, along with Section 78 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for stalking and Section 115(2) for causing hurt.

Television actor Rohit Chandel has been remanded to judicial custody after being arrested by Mumbai's Ghatkopar Police in connection with a complaint filed by his 16-year-old co-star. The minor has accused the actor of stalking, harassment and physical assault. Chandel, known for appearing in television shows including Kashibai Bajirao Ballal and Pandya Store, was taken into custody on 10 July.

Rohit Chandel Sent To Judicial Custody

According to a Times of India report, Ghatkopar Police Station's Senior Police Inspector Vitthal Laxman Ardekar confirmed that Chandel was produced before a court following his arrest and later remanded to judicial custody.

He said, "Rohit Chandel was arrested and produced before the court, which remanded him to judicial custody. He has been accused of stalking the victim. He is currently in judicial custody. The court will decide how long he will remain in custody."

The officer further stated that during questioning, Chandel admitted that he had been visiting the minor actress. Police said the complainant, who had worked with him as a co-actor, alleged that he was putting pressure on her. Investigators also claimed that although Chandel lives in Dahisar, he frequently travelled to Ghatkopar in an attempt to meet her. They further alleged that he continued calling her even after his phone number had been blocked.

Complaint Details Allegations Of Stalking And Assault

According to the complaint filed by the minor, the accused allegedly made repeated phone calls from his own number as well as several other numbers between December 2025 and 7 July, despite her attempts to cut off contact.

The complaint also alleges that on 5 July, Chandel went near her residence, followed her, argued with her, verbally abused her and physically assaulted her.

Case Registered Under POCSO And BNS

Based on the complaint, Ghatkopar Police registered a case against Chandel under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

In addition, he has been booked under Section 78 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for alleged stalking and Section 115(2) for voluntarily causing hurt.
