Actor and 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' winner Sana Makbul, who has been living with an immunity-related illness, was recently hospitalised. The 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' actor gave her fans an update on her recovery through social media on Monday.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Sana posted a close-up photo of herself resting, likely from a hospital bed. Draped in a white sheet and clutching a Labubu doll — the internet’s current favourite — she smiled gently for the camera. Along with the image, she wrote, “And in the middle of my chaos, he got my first labubu (red heart emoticon). Keep me in your duas (prayers)! I'm better.” While she didn’t explicitly detail her health status, her post brought relief to fans who’ve been anxiously waiting to hear from her.

Before Sana’s own message, it was her close friend, Dr Aashna Kanchwala, who first gave a glimpse into the actor’s condition. Sharing a heartfelt note alongside a picture of herself seated by Sana’s hospital bed, Aashna wrote: “I’m so proud of you, for showing so much strength and resilience as you battle such a grave condition. Inshallah, you will fight this and come out even stronger… Allah is with you (prayer hands and emotional face emojis). And I am always standing by you. Get well soon (bandaged heart emoji), my love @divasana.”

Sana had previously opened up about her health struggles. In a candid conversation on a podcast hosted by Bharti Singh, she revealed that she has been dealing with autoimmune hepatitis — a condition in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks liver cells — since 2020. The condition requires continuous medication and monitoring, and Sana has been open about the challenges it brings.
