Water Tank Bursts On Ram Charan's Production 'The India House'; Crew Injured In Sudden Flood

A major accident occurred on the sets of Ram Charan production ‘The India House’ as a water tank burst, causing flooding. An assistant cameraman was seriously injured during the shoot near Shamshabad.

A routine day on the film set of Nikhil Siddhartha’s upcoming period drama ‘The India House’ took a terrifying turn when a massive water tank burst mid-shoot, leading to unexpected flooding and chaos. The incident occurred near Shamshabad, where the film unit was shooting a high-stakes scene with a sea backdrop, an India Today report stated.

Assistant Cameraman Seriously Hurt in the Mishap

Among those injured was an assistant cameraman, who reportedly sustained serious injuries as water rushed onto the set. Several other crew members also suffered minor injuries in the sudden deluge. A viral video from the scene reveals the scale of damage, with crew members seen wading through the flooded area, trying to salvage equipment and set materials from the rapidly rising water.

While the extent of injuries and material damage is still being assessed, the shocking visual from the video highlights the unpredictable nature of on-location filming, especially when elaborate setups involving large water containers are involved.

Police Yet to Be Informed, Actor’s Presence Unconfirmed

Interestingly, Shamshabad police confirmed they had not received an official report regarding the incident at the time of publication. It also remains unclear whether lead actor Nikhil Siddhartha was present when the accident occurred.

The film, which also stars veteran actor Anupam Kher, marks the directorial debut of Ram Vamsi Krishna. It is the first project from Ram Charan's new production house, and was officially announced in 2023 on the occasion of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar’s 140th birth anniversary.

Ram Charan’s First Production Faces Unexpected Setback

'The India House' had been generating buzz since its promo dropped last year, showcasing a powerful pairing of Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupam Kher. The unfortunate incident now casts a shadow over the production, although there has been no official comment yet from the makers or the actor.

As fans await further updates, the hope remains that the injured recover swiftly and the production resumes safely, with reinforced safety protocols in place.
