Vijay Deverakonda's 'World Famous Lover' Makers Claim Losing Rs 8 Crore As Actor Announces Donation On Kushi Success

New Delhi: The philanthropic actor Vijay Deverakonda routinely participates in charitable endeavours and delights both his followers and the general public with unanticipated presents. He has previously won recognition for his charitable work. The actor recently declared that in honour of the release of his most recent movie, Kushi, he would give 1 lakh rupees to 100 families.

Vijay announced he would be giving the aforementioned amount to 100 families at the success celebration, which was held on Monday night in Visakhapatnam. He promised to choose deserving households and give each one a cheque for Rs. 1 lakh.

At the event, Vijay said, "You are happy and I am happy. I am thinking of something and I don’t know if I can pull it off or whether its right or wrong. But, if I don’t do it, I’ll be sleepless. To spread joy with you guys, I will donate Rs 1 crore from my ‘Kushi’ salary to 100 families. I shall select 100 families in need and present them with Rs 1 lakh cheque each in the next 10 days. My success, my happiness and my salary should be shared with you all."

The 'Arjun Reddy' actor also mentioned that the money is from his personal account.

Vijay received a response from a well-known Tollywood producer and distributor just as he was about to implement this idea. The film rights to World Famous Lover, starring Vijay Deverakonda, were purchased by Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures. Sadly, the audience was let down by the movie's dismal box office results. The distribution business asserted that the movie World Famous Lover caused a loss of Rs. 8 crore. They now asked Vijay to assist them in making up for their loss because he is so generously donating 1 crore to deserving families.
