A recent Instagram post by SS Rajamouli hints at the director starting his much-anticipated project featuring Mahesh Babu, sparking excitement among fans and even drawing a comment from global star Priyanka Chopra. The film, currently referred to as ‘SSMB29,’ seems to be gaining momentum. 

Rajamouli's post sparks speculation

On Friday, Rajamouli shared an intriguing video on his Instagram account that offered a glimpse into his upcoming venture. In the clip, he referred to having "captured the lion," a symbolic nod to Mahesh Babu, and showcased the actor’s passport, implying that the production phase is about to kick off.

Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra reacts

Mahesh Babu himself fueled the excitement by responding in the comments section with a memorable line from his 2006 blockbuster film, Pokiri. The actor wrote, “Okkasaari commit ayithe naa maata nene vinanu (Once I commit, I won’t even listen to myself),” which sent fans into a frenzy. 

Adding to the intrigue, Priyanka Chopra left a comment on the post, writing, “😂🙌 Finally.”

Priyanka recently returned to India amidst speculation that she may collaborate with Rajamouli on a new project. During her visit, she also shared moments from her trip to Chilkur Balaji Temple in Telangana, captioning the pictures with a reflective note: “With the blessings of Shri Balaji, a new chapter begins. While the details of the movie remain under wraps, it has been revealed that the script has been penned by Vijayendra Prasad. The film is rumoured to be an action-packed adventure akin to Indiana Jones. It was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, further heightening anticipation.
