Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other political leaders, various Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Randeep Hooda, Riteish Deshmukh also took to Twitter to condemn the attack and offered condolences to the families of the Uri attack martyrs.
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma who herself is from army background says she has closely seen army lives and can feel the pain of those dead in this attack from heart. Her father, Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma, is an army officer
Anushka Shama also quoted Douglas MacArthur in order to sympathise with the soldiers and their families who are mourning death of those killed in the terror attack.
