New Delhi: Rumor has it that actor Prabhas and co-star of 'Adipurush', Kriti Sanon, are dating.
The couple is allegedly getting engaged in the Maldives next week, according to self-proclaimed critic and Overseas Sensor Board member Umair Sandhu. He tweeted the same thing, garnering criticism from both actors' fans. "BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon & #Prabhas will get engaged next week in Maldives !! So Happy for them," he wrote.
In the comments section, Prabhas's fans have made light of him for consistently publishing false information. A few of his fans posted snarky comments, while others rebuked him. Check out a handful of these remarks below:
After Varun Dhawan made a significant hint in November of last year, there were rumours of a romance between Kriti and Prabhas. During his appearance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Varun said, “Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai.”
“Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath,” he responded when Karan asked him to give his name. At the time, Prabhas and Deepika were filming for 'Project K'.
Kriti, however, called all of the rumours "baseless" and dismissed them. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless!”
While working for Project K alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, Prabhas is also engaged in the filming of Maruthi's 'Raja Deluxe'. With 'KGF' director Prashanth Neel, 'Salaar', starring Shruti Haasan, is also almost finished.
