'Mission Mangal' TEASER: Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan Starrer Looks Promising!

'Mission Mangal' which tells the true story of India's mission to Mars also features Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirit Kulhari and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles

The teaser of 'Mission Mangal' which tells true story of India's march into Mars[t Mangalyaan], has just dropped and the star cast including Akshay Kumar, vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari have fantastically portrayed their respective characters. The movie, based on a true story of India's mission to Mars, is about ordinary people achieving the extraordinary and Akshay is seen in the role of scientist Rakesh Dhawan who's initiating the command for the launch of the spaceship. Directed by Jagan Shakti the film is co-produced by 'PadMan' director R Balki and it's releasing on August 15, 2019. Akshay last week had said while sharing the first poster of the film that he chose 'Mission Mangal' especially for his daughter and children of her age to familiarise them with the incredible true story of India's mission to Mars!

A film which I've done specially for my daughter and children her age to familiarise them with the incredible true story of India's mission to Mars!" Sharing the film's teaser today on Tuesday, Akshay wrote on Twitter- "Ek Desh. Ek Sapna. Ek Ithihaas. The true story of India’s #SpaceMission to Mars is here. #MissionMangalTeaser out now!".

Akshay also hopes that 'Mission Mangal' will be an entertainer and an inspiration for kids and help them familiarise with the incredible story of India's mission to Mars. 'Mission Mangal' will lock horns at the theatres with Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor's 'Saaho,' and John Abraham's 'Batla House' this Independence Day. Last year too Akshay's 'Gold' was released on Independence Day.
