Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has tested positive for COVID-19. This news comes a day after her rumoured beau Vicky Kaushal tested positive for coronavirus. The 'Sooryavanshi' actress shared the update on her social media where she revealed that she has immediately self-quarantined herself. The 'Tiger 3' actress further disclosed that she is under home quarantine and is following all the safety protocols.
Katrina Kaif wrote, "I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I'm following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe and take care."
Just yesterday, i.e. on April 5, 2021, Katrina's rumoured beau Vicky Kaushal also tested positive for coronavirus and the 'Sam Bahadur' actor revealed in a social media post that he has self-quarantined himself. The 'Masaan' actor wrote, "Inspite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe."
Katrina Kaif's 'Sooryavanshi' co-star Akshay Kumar tested COVID-19 positive a few days back and has been admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The 'Prithviraj' actor tested positive while he was shooting for his upcoming film 'Ram Setu'. Akshay shared in one of his social media posts that he is doing fine and there's nothing to worry about him.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Shubhangi Atre and many others have tested positive for the virus in recent days. Earlier today, stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra and his parents have also tested COVID-19 positive.
