GM Modular has unveiled a poignant brand film as part of its association with Border 2, now playing in cinemas across India. The film brings to life the unseen world of army families, where duty begins at the borders, but courage is lived every day at home.

Narrated by luxury home décor influencer and DIY artist Neetu Jakhar, the film traces the journey of an army family across generations. It captures the most defining moment in an army household—the instant a soldier leaves for border duty. Seen through the eyes of a young son, the farewell is quiet yet powerful: a child trying to understand absence, a mother holding strength together, and a family standing firm despite uncertainty.

The narrative goes on to reflect life after the departure—mothers managing children alone, turning fear into reassurance, and keeping the home steady. Festivals are celebrated with pride despite absence, routines continue, and values are passed on. From being a soldier’s daughter to becoming a soldier’s wife, the film shows that while roles change with time, the courage, sacrifice, and sense of duty remain the same across generations.

Speaking about the film, Jayanth Jain, CEO, GM Modular, said, “At GM Modular, we believe that true strength lies not just at the borders, but within the homes that wait, hope, and stand strong. This film is our tribute to army families whose courage and sacrifices often go unnoticed, yet form the backbone of our nation.”

The film is narrated by Neetu Jakhar, a luxury home décor influencer and DIY artist known for creating spaces rooted in warmth, functionality, and emotion. Sharing her thoughts, Neetu said, “As someone who believes that homes carry stories, narrating this film was deeply personal. Army homes are built on resilience, love, and silent strength—and this story reflects a reality that deserves to be felt and remembered.”

By focusing on intimate, real-life moments, the film creates a strong emotional connection with audiences and honours not only the soldiers who protect the nation’s borders, but also the families who uphold the same spirit at home, generation after generation.
