Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 6: Laxman Utekar’s directorial venture, Chhaava, is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. The period drama, which hit theaters on February 14, has been drawing audiences consistently, maintaining its strong performance even on weekdays.

Box Office Report

As per Sacnilk, Chhaava raked in approximately ₹32 crore (nett) on its sixth day across all languages, pushing its total collection to an impressive ₹197 crore. With a robust 38.11% occupancy in Hindi on Wednesday, the film is all set to become the first Bollywood film of 2025 to cross the ₹200-crore mark.

About the Film

Chhaava has captivated audiences with its compelling narrative and powerful performances. The film showcases Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna as the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The ensemble cast also features Rashmika Mandanna, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ashutosh Rana, Neil Bhoopalam, and Diana Penty in pivotal roles.

While critics have given Chhaava mixed to positive reviews, the audience response has been overwhelmingly favorable, contributing to its box office success. The film has also been declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh, further boosting its appeal.

Vicky Kaushal on His Role

Talking about his preparation for the role, Vicky Kaushal shared, "On each day there was about 6-8 hours of training work,” said the actor. He further revealed that most days, he would return home only to discover fresh wounds from the intense action rehearsals.

“The kind of discipline that has come into my life has never been there before,” Vicky added, as glimpses of him training between takes, still in full costume and makeup, were shown in a BTS video.

With its remarkable run, Chhaava is not only winning hearts but also setting new benchmarks for Bollywood in 2025.
