According to 123Telugu, a Puducherry resident named Ashokan lodged a complaint with the local police, alleging that a Coimbatore-based company had defrauded him and 10 others of ₹2.4 crore by persuading them to invest in a cryptocurrency scheme.
Ashokan stated that he was invited to the company's launch event in 2022, where Tamannaah was present. Additionally, another event in Mahabaleshwar, which featured Kajal Aggarwal, was also linked to the fraudulent scheme. The report further suggested that the authorities were seeking clarification from the two actresses. However, no official confirmation has been provided by the police regarding their involvement or any summons being issued.
