Salman Khan recently addressed nepotism whole-heartedly by embracing the reality of it. The incident happened in Dubai for the launch of his nephew, Ayaan Agnihotri's new track. Ayaan, known by his stage name, Agni, recently released his latest track 'Universal Laws' on February 20, 2025. Several Bollywood celebs like Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and Salman's siblings Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan were also present.

Salman Khan’s nepotism comment 

Several videos from the event have been going viral on social media. Among the many, one has particularly caught the attention of many on social media. Ayaan's song launch was hosted by Dubai Bling's DJ Bliss, who appreciated Salman Khan and his family's support for each other. During the same launch, Salman jokingly remarked, "That’s what nepotism is."

Salman's remark left the audience in splits. Salman later remarked, "His (Ayaan) parents, good producers. Both the kids, Alizeh and Ayaan." The audience cheered as Salman launched Ayaan's song. For those unaware, Ayaan is the son of Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Khan Agnihotri. Alvira is Salman Khan's sister. 

Ayaan had earlier collaborated with his mamu Salman on a song, called 'You Are Mine' composed by Vishal Mishra.

Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, the ensemble drama led by him and Pooja Hegde and ‘Tiger 3’ alongside Katrina Kaif in 2023. The megastar’s both films were decent performers at the box office. Salman has had no major release last year and fans are anticipating his big release in 2025. 

There are also reports about his upcoming Hollywood debut.
