About Pushpa 2: The Rule
Rashmika, who reprises her role as Srivalli in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, has been receiving immense praise for her performance. The film, released on December 5, continues its remarkable run at the box office, buoyed by fan adulation and the legacy of its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise (2021). The sequel picks up from where the original left off, with Allu Arjun reprising his iconic role as Pushpa Raj.
Recently, Rashmika expressed her support for her Pushpa co-star Allu Arjun following his arrest in connection with the tragic death of a fan during a stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. Taking to her social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Rashmika wrote,
“I can’t believe what I am seeing right now... The incident was unfortunate and deeply saddening. However, it’s disheartening to see one individual being solely blamed. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking.”
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has returned to his home in Hyderabad after being granted bail in the case. Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday, December 13, in relation to a case registered over a stampede that claimed the life of a woman on December 4. The stampede occurred after the crowd that had come to watch the premiere of the movie 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' went berserk when Allu Arjun arrived at the theatre.
