Goa Board Class 12 Results Out: Girls Outshine Boys; Check Key Details & Student Statistics

Goa Board Result 2025 Class 12: Girls excelled in the Goa Board exam with a pass percentage of 92.42%, significantly higher than the boys' 88.69%.

Girls outshone boys in the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) exam results. The pass percentage of girls, 92.42%, was far higher than that of boys. Boys could record a pass percentage of 88.69% this year.

Students can download the results from gbshse.in and results.gbshsegoa.net using their admit card ID, school index number, and seat number.

How To Download Marksheets?

According to GBSHSE, schools can access the consolidated result sheets through their login on service1.gbshse.in, starting March 29, 2025. Additionally, the official result booklet will be made available on the Goa Board’s website www.gbshse.in.

As for individual marksheets, the board will announce the collection date soon. Schools must send authorised representatives to collect the marksheets from the IT Section of the Board’s office. Parents and students will not be allowed to collect marksheets directly, and any queries must be addressed through respective schools, the board clarified.

Student Participation And Stream-Wise Breakdown

This year, a total of 17,686 regular candidates appeared for the Goa Board HSSC exam, comprising 8,462 boys and 9,224 girls. The breakdown of candidates across different streams is as follows:

Arts: 4,068 students

Commerce: 5,085 students

Science: 6,086 students

Vocational: 2,447 students  

Apart from regular candidates, the exam also saw participation from various other categories:

  • 138 Fresh private candidates
  • 24 exempted private candidates
  • 1,063 students who opted for NSQF subjects
  • 47 ITI candidates
  • 202 candidates under Children With Special Needs (CWSN)
  • 35 regular repeaters
  • 811 regular repeater exempted candidates

In 2024, a total of 17,511 regular candidates took the HSSC exam, with 14,884 students successfully passing — resulting in an overall pass percentage of 85%.
