ESIC Recruitment 2019: The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has notified 1085 vacancies for the posts of Stenographer and Upper Division Clerk (UDC) at esic.nic.in.
ESIC Recruitment 2019: The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has notified 1085 vacancies for the posts of Stenographer and Upper Division Clerk (UDC). The application process for this mega recruitment drive by ESIC is scheduled to commence on 16th March 2019, this month, and interested candidates must submit their online applications on or before 15th April 2019 on the official website of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) – esic.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria:
Stenographer - The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (pass in 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board); and must possess a speed of 80 words per minute in stenography in English/Hindi; along with working knowledge of Computer including use of Office Suites and Databases.
UDC - The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or its equivalent; along with a working knowledge of Computer including use of Office Suites and Databases.

Age-Limit:
The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 27 years as on 15th April 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement.
Selection Process:
ESIC will select candidates for the above mentioned posts on the basis of a written exam and a computer skill test (of qualifying nature only) and/ or a stenographer test.
Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will be placed in the revised pay scale as per 7th Central Pay Commission for the post is Level- 4 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) with Entry Pay Rs. 25,500/-, replaced against Pay Band Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/- of 6th Central Pay Commission. Additionally, selected candidates will also be eligible for DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other allowances as per rules in force from time to time.
Application fee:
For SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen – Rs. 250
For other categories – Rs. 500.
