The Board has highlighted how students have ample options to ‘Auto-correct, Backspace, Pause, Shift or Delete’ during their school days to shape their future. Going further, the country’s largest school education board suggests students gearing up for the annual board exams 2019 to ‘Firewall all distractions’ and put the focus on exams.
CBSE has cited the lines of famous American Writer, John Gardner, for students to figure out the meaning of life while they prepare for their upcoming board exams, “Meaning is not something you stumble across, like the answer to a riddle or the prize in a treasure hunt. Meaning is something you build into your life. You build it out of your own past, out of the experience of humankind as it is passed on to you, out of your own talent and understanding, out of the things you believe in. The ingredients are there. You are the only one who can put them together into that unique pattern that will be your life. Let it be a life that has dignity and meaning for you. If it does, then the particular balance of success or failure is of less account.”
Thereby, as the Board has stated, the exams are not your account of success or failure, it is how you deal with yourself to give the best of your potential and move towards the ‘Future You’!
A whopping 18,27,472 students will be appearing for the CBSE Class Xth Board exams; while 12,87,359 students will be giving their CBSE Class XIIth Board exams to venture into college life. CBSE’s message to these students via this trail of technical jargons is simple – this is the moment to optimize ‘the knowledge Search Engine inside you.’ and ‘Face (your) Books. Insta your studies!’
