Gangster Atiq Ahmad's Aide Guddu Muslim 'Flees' To Dubai On Fake Passport
Guddu Muslim, an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, has fled to Dubai using a fake passport, according to sources.

Umesh Pal Murder Case: Later gangster-politician Atiq Ahmad's aide Guddu Muslim, who is an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, has fled to Dubai, according to sources. The shooter who has a bounty of Rs 5 lakh changed his identity and fled to Dubai on December 6 last year, as per the sources.
Guddu Muslim left on an Etihad Airlines flight from Kolkata airport to Dubai, sources within security agencies told ABP News. It is suspected that he used a fake passport in the name of Syed Wasimuddin. Information has been received about his escape to Dubai through a visitor visa. There is a suspicion that people associated with the Atiq gang helped Guddu Muslim escape to Dubai.
Police Issue Look-Out Circular
According to sources, information about Guddu Muslim's escape to Dubai has come to light in the investigation of the Central Intelligence Agency. The agency has shared this information with the UP Police. There has been a stir after the news of Guddu Muslim's escape abroad came to light. A look-out circular was also issued by the police against Guddu Muslim and raids were conducted in almost a dozen states of the country in a bid to nab him.
The Prayagraj Police have already attached Guddu Muslim's house. The CCTV footage in Umesh Pal's murder case, which took place in February 2023, showed him continuously firing bombs on the car which Pal rode. On February 24, 2023, Umesh Pal and two government gunners were murdered in the Dhoomanganj area of Prayagraj.
Absconding Since Shootout
Guddu Muslim had absconded following the shootout. After not being arrested for several months, the reward amount for Guddu Muslim was increased to five lakh rupees. Mafia Atiq's wife Shaista Parveen, sister Ayesha Noori and Atiq's younger brother Ashraf's wife Jainab Fatima are also at large in the shootout case. Rewards have also been announced for the three women of the gangster family.
Two other accused, Arman Bihari and Sabir, are also absconding along with Guddu Muslim in this high-profile shootout case. A reward of five lakh rupees each has been announced for both of them. Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, accused of plotting the shootout, were killed by three attackers on April 15, 2023, while in judicial custody.
