Headless Woman’s Body Found Dumped In Travel Bag Along Agra Canal In Haryana's Faridabad
The Faridabad police filed an FIR under sections 103(1) and 238(b) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, which pertain to punishment for intentional murder and disappearance of evidence.

A headless body of the woman was discovered inside a travel bag along the Agra Canal in the Faridabad district of Haryana on Wednesday. According to the Faridabad police, residents spotted the bag in the area on Wednesday afternoon and informed the authorities. An FIR was later registered based on one of the witness accounts.
The Faridabad police filed an FIR under sections 103(1) and 238(b) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, which pertain to punishment for intentional murder and disappearance of evidence, according to a report by Indian Express.
As per the FIR, the body was found among a pile of garbage in the bushes near the road from Mawai to Palla along the canal. The woman’s legs were bound with a thin rope and placed inside a sack. The site was infested with worms by the time it was discovered.
The Assistant Sub-Inspector, Dharampal Kaushik, who is leading the case, stated that the identity of the victim remains unknown. “We are asking those living nearby (if they know the woman), and will also be taking the help of officials and people in other states to help identify the body," he added.
Kaushik added that the post-mortem examination will be conducted after 48 hours, as per protocol, and there are no suspects at this stage. “We cannot comment on all that. Once we have more details only then," he further added.
A spokesperson for the Faridabad police confirmed that there have been no new developments in the case.
Headless Body Of Woman Found On UP's Kanpur Highway
The headless and naked body of a woman was found on a national highway at Gujaini in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh in a suspicion of rape and murder on September 12, 2024. The police are in the process of discovering and identifying the identity of the woman using CCTV footage.
CCTV footage from a hospital across the highway showed a woman with a similar build walking several hours before a body was discovered on the highway. The woman in the footage is wearing grey trousers, and fragments of a grey garment were discovered near the body.
According to NDTV, police reported that the body was first spotted at 6:15 a.m. yesterday. To investigate this case, three teams have been formed. There are no CCTV cameras at the location where the body was found, but a camera about 3 km away captured images of a woman walking alone. The clothing she wore matches pieces found on the highway. The police are reviewing the footage for further clues.
