Family Of Four Found Dead In Mysuru Apartment, Police Suspect Suicide Due To Debt
Police are also suspecting that the businessman may have poisoned his wife, mother, and son before taking his own life. However, forensic and post-mortem reports are awaited for confirmation.

A family of four on Monday was found dead under suspicious circumstances in two apartment homes in south Mysuru, Karnataka.
The police have identified the deceased as Chethan, a businessman, his wife Rupali, mother Priyamvada (65), and 15-year-old son Kushal. While Chetan's body was found hanging, his wife and son were found dead inside their home at Sankalp Serene Apartments, Times Of India reported.
Chethan's mother was also found lifeless in a separate apartment within the same complex. The exact cause of death remains unclear.
Meanwhile, Mysuru Commissioner of Police Seema Latkar and DCP S Janhavi visited the scene to investigate the matter. Police are suspecting that distress may have contributed to the family's reason to take such a drastic step.
Chethan is said to have been struggling with a huge debt as a result of which he was under pressure from lenders to repay the money, TOI reported citing sources.
The incident reportedly took place late Sunday and was brought to light only after one of Chethan's relatives alerted the police after receiving a voice message from him, wherein he mentioned ending his life.
Police are also suspecting that Chethan may have poisoned his wife, mother, and son before taking his own life. However, forensic and post-mortem reports are awaited for confirmation.
Chethan's phone records, financial transactions, and messages are also being examined by investigators to piece together the events leading up to the tragic incident.
Neighbours have denied any visible signs of distress in recent days and said the family had been residing in the apartment for the past ten years and appeared to be leading a normal life.
Following the incident authorities also urged individuals facing financial or emotional problems to seek help from family, friends, or helpline services.
