Tata Motors announced on Tuesday that it plans to raise the prices of its entire range of passenger vehicles, which includes electric vehicles, starting from April 2025. This will mark the second price increase for the year. The company explained that the price hike is necessary to help mitigate the financial impact of rising costs for raw materials and other inputs. The exact amount of the increase will vary depending on the specific model and variant, as stated by Tata Motors in their official statement.

However, the company did not provide detailed information on the exact percentage or monetary value of the price increase for each model. Earlier this year, in January, Tata Motors had already raised the prices of its passenger vehicle lineup by as much as 3 per cent.

Tata Motors offers a wide range of passenger vehicles, from compact hatchbacks like the Tiago to more premium models, with prices ranging from approximately Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

In a related development, Tata Motors also revealed on Monday that it will be implementing a price increase for its commercial vehicles, with an increase of up to 2 per cent starting next month.
