Gold prices in Lucknow registered a modest fall on Friday, reflecting a broader national trend of minor fluctuations in the precious metal’s value. Despite the slight rise, gold continues to hold its position as a dependable investment option during periods of economic uncertainty.

As of today, the gold rate in Lucknow stands at Rs 9,225 per gram for 22-karat gold and Rs 10,063 per gram for 24-karat gold (999 purity), making it one of the cities reporting higher prices compared to other major metros. Cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad are witnessing slightly lower rates, with 22K gold priced around Rs 9,210 and 24K gold at Rs 10,048 per gram.

Other urban centers such as Ahmedabad and Indore also show marginally elevated rates, though still trailing behind Lucknow and Delhi in terms of pricing.

The continued resilience of gold prices, even amid minor day-to-day shifts, highlights the metal’s role as a safe haven for investors. With global economic pressures and domestic financial concerns still looming, gold remains a go-to asset for preserving value in uncertain times.
