24K & 22K Gold Price Today: Gold prices witnessed a modest correction in early trade on Tuesday, before reversing course and climbing slightly amid global uncertainty linked to renewed US tariff measures.
Kotak Securities said that despite the correction, gold continues to find underlying support from hedging demand amid fiscal risks. Market participants are also awaiting key US economic data, including consumer confidence and manufacturing index readings.
The pullback comes as the Trump administration seeks to reinstate its global tariff push after the US Supreme Court blocked several levies introduced last year. Following the ruling, President Donald Trump announced a fresh 10 per cent tariff effective Tuesday and signalled a possible increase to 15 per cent.
The developments have prompted several countries to reassess trade strategies, with the European Union pausing ratification of its trade pact and India deferring talks with the US.
Traders noted that Gold Rates in India jumped, with Gold prices in Delhi and other key metros reflecting the latest rise.
