Sumanta Kar is the Chief Executive Officer of SOS Children’s Villages India, with over 31 years of experience in alternative care, skilling, and community development. He has led several key initiatives, including SOS India’s largest-ever emergency programme following the 2004 tsunami. He has also contributed to SOS International’s work on alternative care and emergency programmes across Asia.
