Bharatiya Janata Party's Ram Narayan Mandal won Banka assembly seat in 2015 Bihar Assembly Elections by a margin of 3730 votes. Runner-up Zafrul Hoda of Rashtriya Janata Dal bagged 48649 votes. Third position was held by Bahujan Samaj Party's Ajit Kumar Singh while Manoj Singh of Independent held the fourth spot.
